Job summary

Siemens Gamesa in the UK seeks a Team Lead for the Converter System group to provide leadership to the Converter Power Electronics team within Wind Power Technology. You will guide a team of engineers, ensuring ongoing development and operational stability of the Inverter Module area.

The role focuses on leadership, technical oversight of the design life cycle, and process management, with governance for design specs, schematics, and test reports.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading a team of engineers in power electronics or similar.
• Proven ability to manage projects, timelines, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience designing power modules and control circuits is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of electronics and power electronic design engineers.
• Manage resource allocation and project assignments to meet targets.
• Provide technical direction for design, development, and validation of converter power electronics.
