This is a team lead role within the UK Converter System group to provide leadership to the Converter Power Electronics team within the Wind Power Technology division. The role is created to ensure business continuity and is critical for leading a team of power electronics engineers and hardware design engineers, ensuring the ongoing development and operational stability of Siemens Energy’s Inverter Module area. This role is structured around three core areas: team leadership and development, technical oversight of the product design life cycle, and operational process management. The structure ensures the team is effectively guided, delivers high‑quality technical solutions, and adheres to established engineering standards and project timelines. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in leading a team of engineers focused on designing power modules (inverter stacks) and control circuits, experience in managing suppliers and creating strategic long‑term partnerships, and a relevant engineering degree.
