X4 Technology is seeking a Power Electronic Magnetics Design Engineer to join our site-based South West England team. You will own projects from concept through prototype, working on custom high-frequency and planar magnetic components for demanding applications.

You will design transformers, inductors and other magnetic components, run calculations and simulations, and support manufacturing and customer deliverables while collaborating with an international engineering network.

Formación

• Experience in power electronics design including transformers and magnetics.
• Experience with simulations and calculations.
• Familiarity with ANSYS Maxwell or similar magnetic software.

Responsabilidades

• Design transformers, inductors and magnetic components.
• Develop custom high-power magnetic solutions.
• Run design calculations, simulations and analysis.
• Support prototype builds and manufacturing risk reduction.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, R&D and customers.
• Incorporate production feedback into future designs.
• Engage with customers and deliver technical projects.
• Collaborate with an international engineering network.
