Job summary

South West Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Electronics Project Manager for a world class test system solutions provider based in Blandford Forum. The role focuses on delivering projects on time and within budget in a dynamic engineering environment with hands-on involvement when needed.

The ideal candidate will have an electronics/electrical background and a proven track record in managing development test equipment projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and driving successful project

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years industry related experience in electronics engineering role.
• Project management experience (ideally in development test equipment).
• Willingness to build strong customer relationships.
• Holiday can be taken in hours rather than full or half days if the employee prefers.

Responsibilities

• Owning the project from start to end and being accountable to the company and customer.
• Maintaining sufficient understanding of customer needs and manufacturing requirements.
• Managing costs and budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
• Overseeing task progress and ensuring timely delivery.
• Formal planning and scheduling of tasks and resources well in advance (including notice to internal departments).
• Documentation management and controlled issue of drawings; using a central project planner.
