VANRATH is partnering with a well-established organisation in Northern Ireland undergoing digital transformation. The Data Analyst will specialise in Power BI and SQL within the Business Transformation team, delivering reporting, analytics, and dashboards to drive business improvement.

You will work with modern Microsoft data technologies, support automation projects via Power Platform, and contribute to AI-enabled analytics. Hybrid working and strong training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong experience writing SQL queries and using relational databases.
• Excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities with data interpretation.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Ability to translate business requirements into reporting solutions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Attention to data quality and accuracy.
• Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps/Power Automate) is advantageous.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms and data governance.

• Experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards or using comparable Business Intelligence platforms.

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across different areas of the organisation.
• High level of attention to detail, particularly around data quality and accuracy.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate, would be advantageous.

• Good understanding of data modelling, reporting standards and data governance.
• Genuine interest in AI, automation and emerging data technologies.
