Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a Power BI Consultant to join our Data & Analytics team. You will design and deliver Power BI dashboards, collaborate with clients and stakeholders, and evolve data models and reports across public and private sector projects.

With 2–4 years of BI experience, you’ll work in a hybrid setup, showing strong analytical skills, stakeholder communication, and a drive to continuously improve data solutions using Microsoft tech.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Understanding data modelling and BI concepts.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience in Agile delivery teams and collaborative environments.
• Knowledge of data governance, security and reporting best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and visuals.

• Develop DAX measures and Power Query transformations.

About the Role

We are looking for a Power BI Consultant to join our growing Data & Analytics team. This role is suited to someone with 2–4 years' experience developing reporting and business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI.

You will work closely with clients, delivery teams and technical specialists to transform data into meaningful insights that support informed decision-making. You will contribute across the delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering and data modelling through to dashboard development, deployment and ongoing support.

This is an opportunity to develop your skills across modern Microsoft data technologies while working on projects across public and private sector organisations.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.
• Create and maintain data models to support reporting solutions.
• Develop DAX measures, calculated columns and Power Query transformations.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects and Delivery Teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance of Power BI solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve reporting, performance and data quality issues.
• Apply data visualisation best practices to create engaging and accessible reports.
• Document solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Stay up to date with emerging Microsoft Power Platform, Fabric and Power BI capabilities.
