Responsibilities

• Prepare metal components for powder coating, including cleaning, masking and surface preparation.
• Operate powder coating equipment safely and effectively.
• Apply powder coating to components in accordance with customer and production requirements.
• Ensure consistent coating thickness, coverage and finish.
• Inspect finished components for defects and carry out touch-ups or rework.
• Load and unload components from the coating line/racking system.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area.
• Follow health and PPE requirements.
• Work to production targets and deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Report quality issues, equipment problems or material shortages to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with other production team members.

Working as part of the production team, you will be responsible for preparing metal components and applying powder coatings to a high standard, ensuring finished products meet the required quality and production specifications.
This is a hands‑on role within a busy manufacturing environment, ideal for someone with previous powder coating or industrial painting experience who takes pride in producing a quality finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare metal components for powder coating, including cleaning, masking and surface preparation.
• Operate powder coating equipment safely and effectively.
• Apply powder coating to components in accordance with customer and production requirements.
• Ensure consistent coating thickness, coverage and finish.
• Inspect finished components for defects and carry out any necessary touch‑ups or rework.
• Load and unload components from the coating line/racking system.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area.
• Follow all health & safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Work to production targets and deadlines while maintaining high‑quality standards.
• Report any quality issues, equipment problems or material shortages to the relevant supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the production team.

About You

Working Hours

Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:00pm OR Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm - Fixed shift not rotating.

Pay Rate:

£15-£17.50 per hour based on experience
