Job summary

Direct Recruitment Ltd are seeking an experienced Powder Coater for a busy manufacturing site in Stone, Staffordshire. You will be responsible for applying powder coatings to metal pipes and tubular components, preparing surfaces, and operating spray equipment to achieve high-quality finishes.

Ideally you have prior powder coating or industrial paint spraying experience, good attention to detail, and flexibility to work rotating morning and afternoon shifts.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Powder Coater to join a busy and well-established manufacturing company based in Stone, Staffordshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for powder coating metal pipes and tubular components, ensuring a high-quality finish while maintaining production targets and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Applying powder coatings to metal pipes and components.
• Preparing surfaces for coating, including cleaning and inspecting materials.
• Operating powder coating equipment and spray guns.
• Ensuring an even, consistent and high-quality finish.
• Inspecting finished products for defects and quality issues.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Working efficiently to meet daily production targets.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in powder coating or industrial paint spraying is preferred.
• Experience working with metal pipes or tubular components would be advantageous.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Reliable, hardworking and a good team player.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.

Working Hours:

• Rotating morning and afternoon shifts.
• Monday to Friday.
