Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Powder Coater (Control Panels) in Nottingham to join a well-established manufacturing team. You will prepare surfaces and powder coat bespoke sheet metal components, ensuring quality finishes on every part.

Typical hours are about 38 per week with 7:30am–4pm Monday-Thursday and 6am–2pm Friday, plus unlimited optional overtime paid at time and a half. The role offers day shifts, a supportive team culture, and opportunities for progression.

Are you a Powder Coater, looking to join a well-established company offering a stable, long-term position within a tight-knit and collaborative team, with a great work-life balance and unlimited optional overtime to significantly increase your earnings?

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and powder coating a variety of bespoke sheet metal components and enclosures. Your duties will include preparing surfaces, applying powder coatings using specialist spraying equipment, and carrying out quality inspections.

This well-established company has been operating for over 35 years, manufacturing bespoke control panels for a wide range of industries. They offer a complete, one-stop-shop manufacturing solution and continue to grow as they increase their workload and invest in new machinery and equipment. They are now looking for someone to join their production team as they take on further projects.

The Role:

• Preparing and powder coating sheet metal components
• Inspecting finished products
• Approximately 38 hours per week, 7:30am – 4pm (Mon-Thu), 6am – 2pm (Fri)
• Unlimited optional overtime paid at time and a half

The Person:

• Powder Coater, Paint Sprayer, Production Operative, or similar
• Experience in powder coating
