Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Postie in Sutton to deliver letters and parcels. You will work 30 hours per week on a rotating shift, including weekends, with a fixed-term contract of 6 months. The role involves outdoor work, delivering by van and on foot, and building customer relationships. Training and a driving assessment may be required.

You'll be on a 30-hour week, 08:30 to 14:30 shifts, with overtime pay available and weekend work rotating. Benefits vary with contract length and start date.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.

Location: Sutton Delivery Office, SM1 1AA

Job type: Fixed Term contract (6 months)

Salary: £16.24 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.

Working hours: 30:00 hours per week – working 5 days in 7 across Monday - Sunday – 08:30/14:30
