Job summary

University of Oxford, NDORMS invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Spatial and Single Cell Bone Cancer Proteomics. The role focuses on developing and implementing bespoke proteomics assays for bone cancer studies within a dynamic research group.

The postholder will design experiments, analyse complex data, and contribute to writing project-funding applications to extend research in spatial and single-cell proteomics. Interviews are planned during the autumn term.

Qualifications

PhD/DPhil in Chemistry, Biology or related field.
Extensive experience in mass spectrometry-based proteomics.
Expert knowledge in design and analysis of proteomics experiments.
Experience in spatial and single-cell proteomics is desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide and implement bespoke assays for bone cancer studies.
Develop research questions within spatial proteomics and lead individual projects.
Analyse complex qualitative and quantitative data from diverse sources.
Contribute ideas for new research and funding applications.
