Zusammenfassung

The University of Oxford’s Mathematical Institute invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Spatial Biology and Cancer Immunology to join a collaborative COMBAT cancer programme team.

You will analyze multiplex imaging and spatial transcriptomics with MuSpAn workflows in Python, contribute to understanding tumor immune microenvironments, and prepare results for publication and presentations.

Qualifikationen

• PhD/DPhil in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, data science or computational biology.
• Experience analysing complex biological or multidimensional datasets.
• Strong programming skills in Python or the ability to rapidly acquire new tools.
• Experience with spatially resolved data, cancer biology or cancer immunology would be an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Analyse multiplex imaging and spatial transcriptomics datasets.
• Develop Python-based workflows using the MuSpAn framework.
• Collaborate with researchers at the Mathematical Institute, Centre for Immuno-Oncology and Cancer Research UK Oxford Centre.
• Prepare findings for publication and presentation.
• Extend analyses to additional patient cohorts.
