Job summary

The Rosalind Franklin Institute invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Quantitative Cell Biology/Biochemistry. You will lead projects combining biophysics, structural biology and advanced imaging to understand epithelial cell interfaces and condensate formation.

The role offers opportunities to develop quantitative imaging workflows (STED, FLIM, FRET, FCS), contribute to publications and grants, supervise students, and advance your scientific independence in a collaborative lab

Qualifications

• PhD in cell biology, biophysics or biochemistry.
• Experience in advanced quantitative microscopy analysis.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project on quantitative cell biology of epithelial cell interfaces.
• Develop tools to visualise biomolecules in cells with super-resolution imaging.
• Analyse complex data from STED and CryoET experiments.
• Contribute to research outputs including papers and grant proposals.
• Mentor students or visitors and support team activities.
