Job summary
Rosalind Franklin Institute in Oxfordshire is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to lead a project on quantitative cell biology of epithelial interfaces. You will develop tools to visualise biomolecules and advance imaging workflows, including STED, FLIM, FRET and FCS, to analyse complex data.
Candidates should hold a PhD in cell biology, biophysics or biochemistry and have experience in quantitative microscopy.
Qualifications
- PhD in cell biology, biophysics or biochemistry demonstrated.
- Experience with advanced quantitative microscopy analysis.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with lab leadership potential.
Responsibilities
- Lead a project on quantitative cell biology of cell interfaces.
- Develop tools to visualise biomolecules in cells and observe dynamic interface formation.
- Analyse data from super-resolution fluorescence and CryoET to support publications and grant writing.
