Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting temporary Multi-Drop Postal/Parcel Delivery Drivers on behalf of Parcelforce for the Solent area. This role suits self-motivated individuals who enjoy independent outdoor work and delivering excellent customer service.

The position involves sorting deliveries at the office, delivering by vehicle and on foot (up to 8 miles daily), using a handheld device for routes and signatures, and handling bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg with trolleys as needed.

Qualifications

• Licence: valid, full UK manual driving licence with ≤6 penalty points.
• Resilience to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong time management and a customer-first mindset.
• Delivery or commercial driving experience is advantageous but not required.

Position: Postal / Parcel Delivery Driver

Employment Type: Temporary, Up to 35 hours per week

Location: Solent Area

Pay Rate: £15.06 per hour

Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday, including weekend flexibility

• Manual Handling: Safely lift and carry mail bags weighing up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg, utilising delivery trolleys as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Licence: Must hold a valid, full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points (a clean licence is preferred).
• Resilience: Ability to work comfortably outdoors across all weather conditions.
• Skills: Exceptional time management capabilities alongside a customer-first mindset.
• Experience: Prior delivery or commercial driving experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
