Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail is hiring temporary Parcel Delivery Drivers in the Shrewsbury area. Roles are up to 35 hours per week, with shifts Monday to Friday and weekend flexibility. You will load deliveries at the local office and deliver by vehicle and on foot, with physical duties.

Ideal candidates have a full UK manual licence (0–6 points), resilience to work outdoors in all weather, and strong time management. Prior delivery experience is helpful but not required.

About the Opportunity

• Operations: Utilise a company handheld device for navigating routes and capturing customer signatures.
• Manual Handling: Safely lift and carry mail bags weighing up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg, utilising delivery trolleys as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Licence: Must hold a valid, full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points (a clean licence is preferred).
• Resilience: Ability to work comfortably outdoors across all weather conditions.
