Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Ipswich is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) for a fixed term contract (12 months). This 37-hour week involves delivering letters and parcels in Ipswich, driving a Royal Mail van, and working outdoors in all weathers.

You’ll need a full manual UK driving licence (up to 6 penalty points) and be willing to pass a driving assessment. The role includes paid overtime and benefits such as pension and wellbeing support.

Location: Ipswich Delivery Office, IP1 1AA

Job type: Fixed Term contract (12 months)

Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.
Working hours: 37 hours per week - working 5 days in 7 across Monday - Sunday -07:15 - 15:15/12:45 - 20:00*
