Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting Multi-Drop Postal/Parcel Delivery Drivers in the Barnstaple area, delivering letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle. Shifts run 10:00am–17:00pm with a 37-hour week, Monday to Friday and weekend availability required. Start date is immediate.

Role involves loading at the local delivery office, using handheld devices for signatures and navigation, and lifting mail bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points; clean licence preferred).
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.
