Job summary

Pertemps in Hereford is recruiting a Multi-Drop Postal/Parcel Delivery Driver to support Royal Mail. The role involves walking and driving to deliver letters and parcels, using a handheld device for signatures, and loading deliveries at the local office.

The position is temporary/ongoing with an 8am–3pm shift and up to 35 hours per week. Weekend availability is required, and customer service is a key aspect of the job.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 points preferred
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Previous delivery or driving experience beneficial but not essential

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
• Use delivery trolleys when required
