Job description

Location: Armagh Delivery Office, BT61 7AA

Job type: Permanent; contract

Salary: £13.68 per hour (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.

Working hours: 35.00 hours per week – working 5 days in 6 across Monday - Saturday – 08:15/16:20*

About You

We’ll provide full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van. You’ll need:

  • A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)
  • Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment
  • Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags
  • Reliable and self‑motivated
  • Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
  • Customer‑focused, with pride in delivering great service
  • Comfortable working outdoors and independently

  • Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full‑time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part‑time in the employment contract.
