Job summary

David Lloyd Clubs is seeking an Aftercare Manager to oversee the Defects Liability Period for new build and investment projects at our premium health clubs. You will coordinate remedial works, monitor progress and ensure issues are resolved to high quality standards.

You will work closely with contractors, consultants and internal teams, performing site inspections, tracking actions and providing regular updates through to completion and sign‑off.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction, refurbishment or investment projects, ideally with aftercare exposure.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts and building standards, with awareness of M&E systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a structured, fast-paced environment.
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Detail-focused, proactive and solution driven, ensuring high standards are consistently maintained.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Defects Liability Period for new build and investment projects, ensuring defects and outstanding works are resolved to quality standards.
• Coordinate remedial works, monitor progress and maintain regular updates to stakeholders and contractors.
• Perform site inspections and drive defect resolution through to formal completion and close-out.
