Job Title: Post Completion Assistant

Location: Liverpool City Centre (Full-time, in-office)

Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)

About the Role:

We are recruiting a Post Completion Assistant to join a highly regarded legal 500 firm based in the heart of Liverpool city centre. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with conveyancing or post-completion experience seeking to advance their career within a supportive team environment.

As a Post Completion Assistant, you will handle the final stages of property transactions, ensuring all post-completion tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with legal standards. You will work closely with clients, conveyancers, and third parties to facilitate a smooth post-completion process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage post-completion processes for residential property transactions.
  • Submit Land Registry applications (AP1, FR1, etc.).
  • Handle registration of charges and ensure documentation accuracy and timely submission.
  • Prepare and send documents related to post-completion, including DS1s, RX1s, and SDLT submissions.
  • Liaise with clients, banks, lenders, management companies, and internal teams to gather and verify required documents and payments.
  • Monitor and resolve Land Registry requisitions promptly.
  • Balance client accounts and reconcile fees and payments.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Support administrative tasks like updating records, tracking deadlines, and maintaining case management systems.
  • Assist conveyancing team members with queries or issues.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in post-completion work, conveyancing, or legal support roles preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with case management systems (e.g., Proclaim, Infotrack) is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • Team player with a collaborative attitude.
