Job summary

Eventus Legal is seeking a PostCompletion Paralegal in Spalding, Lincolnshire. This full-time, permanent, on-site role offers £26,000–£28,000 depending on experience, private health insurance, an employer-contributed pension and group life assurance.

You will manage your own caseload and report to a senior member of the property team. You\'ll handle residential conveyancing postcompletion work, coordinate with fee earners, lenders and Land Registry, and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a caseload of postcompletion files.
• Knowledge of Stamp Duty Land Tax submissions and HM Land Registry applications.
• Accurate and methodical approach to documents, records and deadlines.
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Confidence using casemanagement systems and MS Office applications.
• Ability to work full time from the firm\'s office in Spalding, Lincolnshire.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of postcompletion files from completion through to registration and closure.
• Prepare and submit Stamp Duty Land Tax returns and arrange payment where required.
• Prepare, submit and progress applications to HM Land Registry.
• Review and respond to Land Registry requisitions within required timescales.
• Serve leasehold notices and deal with title requirements and certificates of compliance.
• Check postcompletion documentation and maintain accurate casemanagement records.
• Liaise with fee earners, lenders, managing agents, freeholders and others to progress matters.
• Close files once all postcompletion requirements are satisfied.
• Report to a senior member of the property team.
