Leicestershire County Council is recruiting for a Post-16 support role based at County Hall, Glenfield. You will work with young people, families, schools, colleges and partners to deliver clear planning, inclusive practice and preparation for adulthood.
The role requires experience supporting young people with SEND, strong communication and organisational skills, and a Level 3 qualification or equivalent. DBS enhanced check is required.

Join our Post-16 team and help young people access positive next steps after Year 11. You'll work with young people, families, education settings and partners to support clear planning, inclusive practice and preparation for adulthood across Leicestershire.
Support post-16 planning, transition and positive next steps. Work with young people, families, schools, colleges and providers. Help plans reflect aspirations, needs and preparation for adulthood.
Identify young people at risk of disengagement, NEET or placement breakdown. Offer practical advice and contribute to reviews and quality improvement.
An enhanced with barred list DBS check is required for this post.
