Job Description:

Protocol Education is currently recruiting creative-minded teaching assistants who are confident in delivering one-to-one sessions to students with special needs, starting after Easter. The role involves working with learners in a creative way on a one-to-one basis, primarily preparing them for adulthood. You may also assist in lessons such as music, art, and P.E., and have opportunities to work outdoors supporting students at farms, work placements, and other organizations, helping them become more aware of life outside education and preparing for their next steps.

The role includes:
  • Location: Southwark, London
  • Full-time: Monday to Thursday, with optional Fridays
  • Long-term opportunity with job security
  • Supporting 6-8 students per class
  • Developing academic and social skills through creative approaches
  • Teaching numeracy, focusing on movement and independence
  • Supporting community involvement and work placements
