SEN Teaching Assistant/Graduate Teaching Assistant

An outstanding secondary school located in the London Borough of Ealing is looking to hire SEN Teaching Assistants/Graduate Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible on an ongoing basis.

The School

This school is an outstanding, non-selective secondary school in Ealing. It has maintained an outstanding status for the past decade, consistently achieving excellent exam results and ranking in the top 5% for student progress. Many students go on to study at Russell Group universities.

The school boasts modern facilities, including a campus-style layout, extensive IT resources, large outdoor sports fields, and one of London's largest post-16 centers.

Role and Responsibilities

The school is seeking ambitious SEN Teaching Assistants to join their growing team immediately. The successful candidates will be expected to run small group activities and provide 1:1 interventions as needed.

Main duties include:

• Collaborating with the class teacher to motivate and support student learning using your initiative.
• Promoting inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom.
• Working alongside other Learning Support Assistants to maintain a stimulating Resource Base.
• Discussing observations of students' work and assisting in planning their development.
• Keeping records of students' progress and using this information to recognize achievements and set targets for further improvement.
