Teaching Assistant – All-Through SEND School, Slough, September 2025 Start

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

About the role:

We’re supporting a well-established specialist school in Slough that provides education and support for pupils aged 4 to 19 with a broad spectrum of additional learning needs. They’re seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time from September 2025. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The role requires consistency, empathy, and adaptability — whether assisting with classroom activities, personal care, or responding to changing routines.

What they’re looking for:

1. Minimum of 3 months’ experience supporting individuals with SEND in a school or care setting
2. Confidence working across a mixed age range (from early years to post-16)
3. A proactive, composed, and flexible attitude — initiative is highly valued
4. Willingness to support with personal care as needed

Additional considerations:

• Personal experience supporting someone with additional needs
• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential)
