Job summary

Autism Plus in York is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Partner to lead on daily PBS delivery, developing and implementing PBS Plans while maintaining a person-centred approach. You will work with care teams to assess needs and support staff through supervision and training.

Role emphasises coaching, mentoring and consistent documentation across incident reports and ABC charts, with strong collaboration with health and social care professionals to improve outcomes for the people we support.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support plans.
• Ability to coach, mentor and support staff in PBS principles.
• Demonstrated collaborative approach with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• The timely construction of PBS Plans and ongoing adaptation.
• Gather information from observations, records and questioning.
• Collaborate with staff teams to support behavioural needs.
• Support Team Managers to implement PBS Plans.
• Work with health and social care professionals involved in care.
• Create aids such as social stories and sensory supports.
• Model best practice in documentation and incident recording.
• Promote teamwork, flexibility and coverage for staff absences.
