Job summary

The Winsford Academy is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Officer to help maintain a calm, safe environment where students can thrive. You will visit classrooms and patrol corridors to ensure students are in lessons and engaged in their learning, supporting the school’s behavioural expectations.

Working as part of the RESET system, you will deescalate behaviours, escort students to the RESET Inclusion Room, and support the Inclusion Manager in ensuring timely intervention sessions.

Responsibilities

• Visit classrooms and patrol corridors to ensure all students are in lessons and engaged with their learning.
• Deescalate behaviour and support students within the RESET system, escorting to the RESET Inclusion Room.
• Support the Inclusion Manager to ensure students engage with learning and attend timetabled intervention sessions.
