Job summary

SSE Renewables seeks a role to maximise the value of its growing portfolio of renewable generation and storage assets. You will coordinate Capacity Market and system services activities across Great Britain and Ireland, ensuring qualification, optimisation and compliance while protecting revenue streams.

You will work with development, operations, finance and regulatory teams to influence delivery of over 2GW of assets, supporting the energy transition through participation in key market

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex commercial, regulatory or compliance-driven processes.
• Strong knowledge of electricity markets, energy regulation and related frameworks.
• Proven ability to coordinate stakeholders and deliver against fixed deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead qualification, application and auction activities across Capacity Market and system services schemes, ensuring submissions are completed accurately and on time.
• Manage ongoing contractual, regulatory and operational obligations to protect revenue streams and minimise risk.
• Coordinate multiple stakeholders across development, operational and commercial teams to ensure assets remain eligible, compliant and operationally ready.
• Develop and maintain governance, assurance and reporting processes, ensuring activities are documented and audit-ready.
• Identify opportunities to enhance performance through optimisation, market participation strategies and risk management.
