Job summary

SSE plc is recruiting to maximise the value of SSE Renewables' growing portfolio of assets across GB & Ireland. You will coordinate Capacity Market activities, ensure compliance, and protect revenue while working with development, operations, finance and regulatory teams.

The role offers permanent, full-time employment with flexible first options and locations across multiple SSE renewables sites, plus a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex commercial, regulatory or compliance-driven processes.
• Strong knowledge of electricity markets, energy regulation and capacity mechanisms.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead qualification, application and auction activities across Capacity Market and system services schemes.
• Manage ongoing contractual, regulatory and operational obligations to protect revenue streams and minimise risk.
• Coordinate multiple stakeholders across development, operational and commercial teams to ensure eligibility and readiness.
• Develop and maintain governance, assurance and reporting processes, audit-ready documentation.
• Identify opportunities to enhance commercial performance through market participation strategies.
