SSE Renewables is seeking a skilled professional to maximise the value of its growing renewable generation and storage assets. You will coordinate Capacity Market and system services activities across Great Britain and Ireland, ensuring assets are qualified, optimised and compliant while protecting revenue.
You will work with development, operations, finance, commercial and regulatory teams to drive delivery of over 2GW of renewable and flexible generation assets, contributing to the energy
Base Location: Perth, Glasgow, Inverness, Aberdeen, Reading, Belfast or Dublin. You'll be expected to spend at least 50% of your working week from one of these locations, although other SSE Renewables locations may be considered.
Salary: £51,600 - £77,400/€65,300 - €97,900 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maximising the value of SSE Renewables' growing portfolio of renewable generation and storage assets. You'll act as the central point of coordination for Capacity Market and system services activities across Great Britain and Ireland, helping ensure our assets are successfully qualified, optimised and compliant while protecting millions of pounds of contracted revenue.
Working across development, operations, finance, commercial and regulatory teams, you'll influence the delivery of over 2GW of renewable and flexible generation assets, supporting the energy transition through effective participation in some of the most important electricity market mechanisms in the UK and Ireland.
