Job summary

RBC in Exeter is seeking a Portfolio Management Assistant to join our Wealth Management team on a permanent basis. You’ll gain exposure to the full wealth management lifecycle, including portfolio development, client review processes, trade execution, and business development, with in-office presence and the option for one remote day per week.

You will support Portfolio and Wealth Managers, assist in client meetings, verify information, and help with business development while collaborating

• Collates and verifies the accuracy of information and work provided.
• Assist in preparation for new client meetings.
• Supports business development through correct application of client processes and procedures.
• Assists team members as required and works effectively with colleagues.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Portfolio Management Assistant to join our Exeter office on a permanent basis. In this role, you’ll gain comprehensive experience across the full wealth management lifecycle. Your responsibilities will span portfolio development, client review processes, trade execution and business development. This opportunity provides an excellent foundation to develop specialised knowledge in asset allocation, security selection and portfolio construction, while build your expertise in wealth management operations. RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely.
