Job summary

RBC in Exeter is seeking a Portfolio Management Assistant to join our Wealth Management team on a permanent basis. You’ll gain exposure to the full wealth management lifecycle, including portfolio development, client review processes, trade execution, and business development, with in-office presence and the option for one remote day per week.

You will support Portfolio and Wealth Managers, assist in client meetings, verify information, and help with business development while collaborating

Qualifications

• An understanding of portfolio management and client advice processes.
• Strong numerical skills.
• Clear and concise communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Portfolio Managers and Wealth Managers in the production of portfolio proposals, reviews and associated client administration.
• Execute trades on instruction from a Portfolio Manager or Wealth Manager.
• Completes all work according to procedures and standards.
• Collates and verifies the accuracy of information and work provided.
• Assist in preparation for new client meetings.
• Supports business development through correct application of client processes and procedures.
• Assists team members as required and works effectively with colleagues.
