Job summary

RBC in Exeter is seeking a Portfolio Management Assistant to join our Wealth Management team on a permanent basis. You will gain exposure across portfolio development, client reviews, trade execution and business development in a collaborative, in-office/remote-flexible environment.

The role offers foundation in asset allocation, security selection and portfolio construction, with opportunity to grow within wealth management operations. Hybrid work up to 1 day remotely.

Responsibilities

• Support the Portfolio Managers and Wealth Managers in the production of portfolio proposals, reviews and client administration.
• Execute trades on instruction from a Portfolio Manager or Wealth Manager where appropriate.
• Complete all work according to procedures and standards.
• Collate and verify the accuracy of information and work provided.
• Assist in preparation for new client meetings.
• Support business development through correct application of client processes and procedures.
• Assist team members as required and work effectively with colleagues.
