Job summary

SSE plc is seeking an experienced Change Manager to drive business readiness and user adoption across digital programmes. You will ensure the Business Change Framework is applied, coordinating with project teams to deliver meaningful change for leaders and users.

You will oversee communications, training design, and handover to BAU, partnering with L&T and stakeholders to maximise benefits across Run, Grow and Transform initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience across business change disciplines on large-scale transformational projects.
• Exceptional customer focus with strong stakeholder engagement and influencing at senior level.
• Subject matter expertise in business change practices and transformation lifecycles.
• Knowledge of project lifecycles, phase/gate/release processes and change deliverables.
• LEAN management awareness or skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create structured change experiences guiding individuals and teams through change across projects.
• Lead Change Analysts / Vendor Change resources for planning and managing business change activities.
• Represent Digital Business Change in governance forums with clear status reporting and updates.
• Challenge Delivery Leads on change needs, outputs, and outcomes; raise adoption risks to the project team.
• Oversee communications and engagement plans to build adoption and handover to BAU with coaching.
