Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a dedicated Porter to help ensure smooth operations at Chartwells on a full-time basis. The role runs 40 hours per week and contracts to 48 weeks per year, supporting lobby cleanliness and guest services across events and dining spaces.

The ideal candidate will be adaptable, an excellent communicator, and capable of delivering high-quality customer care while working under pressure and maintaining reliability.

Responsibilities

• Keeping lobby and public areas clean and tidy.
• Assisting in room setup and moving furniture for events.
• Handling reception duties such as bookings and reservations.
• Responding to customer requests and running errands.
• Ensuring safety by placing wet floor signage where needed.
