FRONTrunner Recruitment Ltd is recruiting Portable Appliance Testers (PAT) to join a long‑standing electrical compliance company.

You'll test portable appliances on large commercial sites, travel 1–3 sites per day across Newcastle to Middlesbrough, and benefit from a 27k base with realistic OTE of 38–40k, plus a van, fuel card and other bonuses.

This role requires a C&G 2377 PAT course, experience testing, a full UK driving licence and DBS clearance.

Formación

• C&G 2377 PAT course or equivalent required.
• Experience doing portable appliance testing.
• Be able to pass a DBS check.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsabilidades

• Test portable appliances on large commercial sites.
• Go to 1–2 sites per day, with bonuses for a 3rd site.
• Cover Newcastle to Middlesbrough.

Salary and Benefits for a Portable Appliance Tester / PAT Tester

• 27k basic salary - realistic OTE of 38-40k OTE
• Bonus scheme for the amount of items tested per day-15p, 25p or 35p per test after daily targets are hit

They pride themselves on their engineers' skills as well as always being one step ahead of the ever changing electrical regulations. They are NICEIC, CHAS, Safe Contractor and BAFE compliant and take their service very seriously to make sure their clients always come back in the future.

They are recruiting for Portable Appliance Testers (PAT), you will be:-

• Testing portable appliances on large commercial sites
• Going to 1 or 2 sites per day - extra bonuses if you have to go to a 3rd site that day which isn't very often
• Covering Newcastle to Middlesbrough

Skills / experience needed to be a PAT Tester:-

• Living close to Newcastle would be ideal as a lot of work in and around that area but would look at someone anywhere on patch
• C&G 2377 PAT course or equivalent needed
• Experience doing portable appliance testing
• Full UK driving licence
• Be able to pass a DBS check
