Job summary

FRONTrunner Recruitment Ltd is representing a well-established electrical compliance and testing company. They are recruiting a PAT tester to cover the Birmingham area, testing portable appliances on large commercial sites and travelling between sites as required.

The package includes a 27k base salary with an OTE of 38–40k, travel pay, a company share ownership scheme after 12 months, and plenty of overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience doing portable appliance testing.
• C&G 2377 PAT course required.
• Full UK driving licence.
• DBS check clearance.
• Living near Birmingham area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test portable appliances on large commercial sites.
• Travel to 1–2 sites per day; third site earns extra bonuses.
• Cover the Birmingham area and surrounding West Midlands.

Job description

My client is a very well respected electrical compliance and testing company that has been established for well over 40 years, they cover all over the UK and can claim a lot of very well known companies and organisations as customers. They pride themselves on their engineers' skills as well as always being one step ahead of the ever changing electrical regulations. They are NICEIC, CHAS, Safe Contractor and BAFE compliant and take their service very seriously to make sure their clients always come back in the future.

Responsibilities

• Testing portable appliances on large commercial sites
• Going to 1 or 2 sites per day - extra bonuses if you have to go to a 3rd site that day
• Covering mostly in and around the Birmingham and B postcode area with some sites being in the west midlands area

Salary and Benefits

• 27k basic salary - realistic OTE of 38-40k OTE
• Bonus scheme for the amount of items tested per day-15p, 25p or 35p per test after daily targets are hit
