Job summary

Porsche Centre Glasgow is seeking an experienced Service Advisor on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. You will be the face of the aftersales experience, guiding customers from booking through to vehicle completion and handover, while working closely with technicians.

We value outstanding communication, organisation and a proactive, commercially minded approach to advising on servicing and products. Kerridge experience is a plus but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor, preferably automotive.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Service Advisor (Fixed Term Contract - Maternity Cover)– Porsche Centre Glasgow – OTE £38,600.00

We’re looking for an experienced, driven and customer-focused Service Advisor to join the team at Porsche Centre Glasgow and deliver an experience worthy of the Porsche name.

As a Service Advisor with Sytner Group, you’ll be the face of our aftersales experience and the vital link between our customers and our workshop. You’ll build genuine relationships, understand exactly what each customer needs and ensure they feel informed, valued and confident throughout their journey with us.

You’ll manage every stage of the service process — from booking and vehicle reception through to liaising with our highly skilled technicians, keeping customers updated and ensuring vehicles are completed and ready when promised.

This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where exceptional customer care comes first. You’ll combine outstanding communication skills with organisation, commercial awareness and attention to detail to provide advice on servicing, maintenance, products and services.

About you

We’re looking for an experienced Service Advisor who thrives in a busy, customer-focused environment and takes genuine pride in delivering exceptional service.

You’ll be highly organised, commercially aware and confident communicating with customers, technicians and colleagues at all levels. Most importantly, you’ll understand that great customer service is about more than completing a transaction — it’s about building trust and creating customers for life.

You’ll bring:

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor, ideally within the automotive industry.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organisation, administration and attention to detail.
• The ability to remain calm, professional and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence discussing technical information and advising customers on the right products and services.
• A proactive and commercially minded approach.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing One Team environment.
• Experience of Kerridge would be advantageous, but is not essential.
