Job summary

BH Live is recruiting a Recreation Assistant for Littledown Leisure Centre. You will work 34.5 hours per week on a rota, primarily poolside, serving as the main customer contact and ensuring safety and compliance with centre rules.

The role requires an NPLQ qualification, DBS clearance, and confident swimming ability. The position offers development opportunities and a range of staff benefits.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification is required.
• Satisfactory enhanced DBS clearance.
• Be a confident swimmer.
• Remain calm under pressure and show initiative.
• Concentrate while poolside.
• Excellent customer service is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work poolside and be the main point of contact for customers.
• Ensure customers are kept safe and follow centre rules.
• Erect, dismantle and move equipment.
• Clean the centre and equipment.
• Supervise pool and centre facilities to ensure safety.
