Job summary

Leisure People is seeking an experienced Swimming Pool Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. The role covers Swindon and the M4 corridor, servicing and maintaining commercial and residential pool equipment.

You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and provide excellent customer service while working independently. The ideal candidate has swimming pool industry experience, strong workmanship standards, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

Experience as a Swimming Pool Maintenance Technician or similar role.
Excellent knowledge of swimming pool plant equipment and water treatment.
Experience in fault finding and equipment repairs.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong problem-solving and independent work ability.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage workload and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

Carry out routine swimming pool servicing and preventative maintenance.
Test and balance pool water chemistry.
Diagnose and repair faults on pool plant equipment, including pumps, filters, dosing systems, heaters, and UV systems.
Install and commission new pool equipment where required.
Perform plant room inspections and ensure systems operate efficiently.
Complete service reports and maintain accurate records.
Provide excellent customer service and technical advice to clients.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current health and safety regulations.
Travel to customer sites throughout Swindon and the M4 corridor.
