Ex-Mill Recruitment Ltd advertises an Electrically Trained Swimming Pool Service Engineer vacancy covering Wiltshire, ideally Mid to North Wiltshire. The role offers £35k–£40k per annum, dependent on experience, with comprehensive specialist training and a company vehicle.

Based in field service across Wiltshire and surrounding areas, you will service and maintain pool equipment, test water chemistry, and complete digital reports, while upholding safety standards and professionalism.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2391-52 – Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing or equivalent.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Former Armed Forces background – Royal Navy, British Army or RAF.
• Able to work independently in field-based environment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
• Professional and confident when dealing with customers.
• Previous swimming pool experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, fault-find and repair electrical control panels, pumps, dosing systems, electric heaters, UV systems and automated pool controls.
• Carrying out routine plant room servicing and mechanical maintenance.
• Installing and maintaining pool equipment.
• Conducting water testing and chemical balancing.
• Diagnosing faults and resolving problems on site.
• Completing accurate digital service reports.
• Ensuring work complies with electrical and safety standards.
• Managing your own daily travel and workload.
• Representing the company professionally when dealing with homeowners and facilities managers.
