Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Pool Engineer to join a leading, family‑run maintenance contractor serving luxury residential leisure clients.

You will shadow an experienced Swimming Pool Engineer, assist with servicing, planned maintenance and reactive repairs, and travel across London and the home counties. You’ll learn to work with pumps, filters, dosing units and plant room equipment, while providing on‑site customer service and technical support.

Qualifications

• A hands-on background within the leisure industry is highly desirable.
• Experience in plumbing or general maintenance also considered.
• Any experience with swimming pool backwashing, testing/balancing chemicals and general pool maintenance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Shadow an experienced Swimming Pool Engineer and assist with servicing and maintenance.
• Travel to sites across London and the home counties for daily tasks and repairs.
• Provide on-site customer service and technical support.

We currently have an opportunity available to join a leading, family-run maintenance contractor who offer services to high-end clients within the residential leisure industry, including servicing, maintenance and repairs on luxury swimming pool and spa equipment.

Job Overview

Shadow an experienced Swimming Pool Engineer during their day-to-day jobs, including completing servicing, planned maintenance and reactive system breakdown repairsTravelling to multiple sites a day across London and the home counties, mostly within luxury residential housingLearning about and eventually completing maintenance on pumps, filters, dosing units, pool covers, and associated plant room equipmentProviding excellent customer service on site including providing technical support and assistance to clients

Job Requirements

A hands-on background within the leisure industry is highly desirable, with backgrounds such as plumbing and general maintenance also considered

Any experience completing tasks such as swimming pool backwashing, testing/balancing chemicals and general pool maintenance would be highly desirable

Hold a full UK driving licence

Based within a 1 hour 30 minute commute of London
