Job summary

Heart of Yorkshire Education Group in Castleford is seeking an Inclusion Practitioner with drive and enthusiasm, who has direct experience of working with and motivating students. You will support students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities using a student-centred, caring approach.

This role requires a flexible approach to working hours and a willingness to travel between our campus sites, joining a dedicated Additional Learning Support team and contributing to students' studies.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
  • GCSE A*-C / 9-4 in Maths and English, or equivalent such as Functional Skills Level 2.
  • An awareness of the 2014 SEND reforms (Special Educational Needs and -Disabilities).

Responsibilities

  • Support students with learning difficulties and disabilities in their studies.
  • Contribute to the Additional Learning Support team and related activities.
