Coventry City Council is seeking an experienced Policy & Project Manager to join the Revenues & Benefits Service. The role sits within the System Support team and focuses on business rates systems, legislation and related processes.

You will coach staff, identify skills gaps, support upgrades and digital transformation, and create SQL scripts to extract key data from the Housing Benefit & Council Tax Support database.

Competenze

• Experience in Revenues & Benefits environment with strong Business Rates knowledge.
• Ability to manage projects and implement service improvements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication.

Mansioni

• Act as the subject matter expert for Business Rates systems, legislation and associated processes.
• Build knowledge, capability and resilience across teams through coaching, mentoring and structured training programmes.
• Work collaboratively with service managers to identify skills gaps and implement development plans.
• Support the implementation of system upgrades, new technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
• Create system related SQL's or technical scripts to extract key information from our Housing Benefit & Council Tax Support data base.
