Job summary

Wye Valley NHS Trust in Hereford is seeking a Governance and Patient Experience Facilitator (Band 6) on a part-time basis. The role supports governance, policy management and patient experience improvements within the Surgical Division.

You will lead on SOPs/LocSSIPs, advise clinical teams, manage incident and risk data, and contribute to divisional governance meetings while upholding our values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in healthcare governance or policy.
• Ability to manage complex policy documentation and SOPs.
• Experience in incident and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, review, and governance of divisional Policies, SOPs and LocSSIPs.
• Advise clinical teams on policy development and application.
• Establish systems for monitoring and version control of governance documents.
• Communicate complex information to staff at all levels.
• Prepare reports for governance meetings and support Duty of Candour.
