Assess emerging issues and topics, own at least one workflow or project area, and evaluate the impact of local law updates and active litigation. Plan and execute the majority of prioritized project work independently, leveraging the team for support.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Independently identify and recommend creative solutions to evolving or adapting to policy problems.
  • Address escalated issues or triage when required in a timely manner.
  • Deconstruct complex problems, frame policy issues, and contextualize solutions for management, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
  • Identify trends, anticipate challenges, and develop strategies for ambiguous problems without clear solutions.
  • Collaborate within teams to communicate knowledge related to a broad set of tasks.
  • Identify key stakeholders, build networks, and contribute to cross-team collaborations to facilitate success.
  • Foster a respectful and inclusive work environment.
  • Begin to demonstrate thought leadership by engaging with external partners on policy/process issues or innovative approaches.
  • Coordinate timelines, goals, and objectives for project components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including technical and vendor teams, to support policy launch and implementation.
  • Understand the implications of policy and process changes on systems, enforcement, and operations.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of policy development and implementation, ensuring policies are operationally feasible.
  • Manage and implement global product policies with regional focus, considering local culture, values, and community standards.
  • Work with stakeholders and vendors to develop and implement product policies and standards, and participate in investigations and inquiries from external parties.
  • Identify, analyze, and prioritize policy issues affecting the client and assess their impact on business and users.
  • Resolve cross-product, high-impact policy escalations with minimal guidance.

  • Knowledge of online, international, and multilingual communities.
  • Understanding of how to handle disruptive and unexpected events affecting stakeholders or the public.
  • Ability to use native-like fluency in a foreign language (e.g., German, French, Mandarin, Spanish, Russian).
