Job summary

BT Group is seeking a skilled network design engineer to work within the Police & Government Design Team. The role involves turning requirements into secure, practical network designs, collaborating with architects, delivery teams and customers, and supporting complex in-life solutions for police customers.

You will travel to police sites, obtain SC and NPPV3 clearance, and contribute to multi-year transformation initiatives across cyber, AI and managed services, while helping BT to grow in

Qualifications

• Fortinet networking and security capability.
• Eligibility to obtain SC and NPPV3 clearance and undertake regular travel to police sites.
• Experience with police, blue-light, government or secure customers would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and challenge requirements and translate them into detailed technical designs.
• Deliver solution design engagements, statements of work, migration plans and implementation support.
• Coordinate third-party deliverables with architects, customers and project teams.
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis and escalation as needed.
• Share knowledge and monitor emerging tech to improve design and delivery.
