Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock is seeking a Poker Room Attendant to greet guests, manage seating and assist players in the Poker area. You will handle buy-ins, inform players of table status, and uphold gaming and customer service standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 21+ age, and the ability to pass background/drug checks; punctuality and flexibility for holidays/weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior guest service, poker experience and/or poker certificate preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain all licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.
• Must pass background check.
• Must pass drug screening.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Able to work holidays and weekends, with flexible shifts.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
• Knowledge of Hard Rock operations.
• Knowledge of cheating techniques and how to identify them.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests.
• Answer telephone in Poker area and respond to questions from potential players.
• Maintain waiting lists for all Poker games using the Bravo system.
• Open and maintain games.
• Page players when seats are available and escort to tables.
• Provide buy-ins to players as needed.
• Perform credits and fills with Dealers.
• Transport cash and chips to and from Poker Cage.
• Wash and reset decks.
• Maintain contact with Floor to ensure guests are properly served.
• Notify managers discreetly of concerns re responsible gaming and alcohol service.
• Notify Ethics Hotline of any illegal acts or ethics violations.
• Promote positive guest and team relations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
